His career as an architecture student began in Lisbon. After a year of study at Buenos Aires UBA he completed his Master’s degree at FA-UTL in Lisbon. Since the age of 19 he has worked as an architect in companies such as Ateliermob and Promontorio. In the last 6 years he moved to Zurich where he worked in EM2N and Z2G Architekten. From the beginning his interest in graphic expression was very present in his projects. For some years, it has been working as a visualizer where the interest for the graphic definition of the images passes through the atmosphere and materials. The fascination of materializing an idea in a graphic form has become the objective goal.

After perusing a career in the world of fashion, Urban changed his course and studied industrial design at the Zurich University of the Arts. His ability to combine different fields of design, techniques and his understanding for other people’s points of view lead to an extensive comprehension of design. This versatility is a key impulse for creativity and new design solutions. Urban has developed a reduced design language that allows any user to understand the idea and the function of the creation on sight.

Competitions

The public and private investment competitions, especially in Switzerland, are one of the greatest ways to develop an Architecture Project.
The mandatory status of developing a competition translates itself on a participative and interventional society, ensuring that all architecture offices have the same possibility to succeed. This system also adds quality: since there are different proposals and ways to solve architectural issues, the projects can only benefit from the diversity of solutions presented.
OVA studio intends to visualize and to present, in a professional level, your projects. It is possible to personalize and explore ambiances, atmospheres, or even more artistic solutions that elevate the project through its own image.

Marketing

OVA studio develops images that help to better understand the project during the entire process – from the first conceptual idea to the selling point. This allows a better and easier communication between the architect and the investor or client, which translates in an efficient and real understanding. Explaining our thinking process with an image how a space will be helps clients comprehend better and emphasizes better solutions. It is also possible to test different options and materials until the optimal one is found.
To promote and sell projects, OVA studio provides high resolution and photo realistic images to investors and real estate.

VR 360°

Specialized to real estate projects and marketing solutions, VR 360º images allow the user to see the project and interact with the space around. It is possible to see the surrounding space and better understand specific points of view. Those images can be seen online or, for a full experience, with VR-technology goggles in our OVA studio office. This modern technology shows you the whole project as if someone was inside the design space – through this perspective, we can see and change project details, such as materials, colors, among other factors. Drone Photos

Photographing with our Drone Phantom 4 Pro allows images from buildings and spaces that were not possible to obtain until now. New views can now be explored with a drone!
Videos are with 4K resolution and photos until 20mB. Photos, in a ‘bird view’, are used as complements when promoting a building, as they show the surroundings and the landscape.

Visual Communication

Visual communication and Branding complements the project and offers a full marketing experience. In this department, we elaborate all the documentation and process necessary to do the project – website, logo, booklets, visit cards, selling plans of the apartments, photography and consequent graphic representation.

Webdesign

Websites for real estate market allows for the promotion and sale of a project before the same is actually built, as a potential buyer can visualize, in detail, what the future investment will look like.
Generally, promoting projects are dedicated to real estate but there is a variety of website options: the idea is to provide the most realistic experience possible. This type of visualization can be focused on a room, on the entire apartment or even on specific details – which represents a big input on the image that the buyer has on the investment.
